The Dish's Dish™ brings delicious home cooking to your kitchen, your way.
First fill out our online checklist. It gives us a head start in learning about your likes, dislikes and culinary requirements, enabling us to craft your tailor-made menu. Because we customize meals to your taste, you’ll always get just what you want. Feel free to request any kind of cuisine, dish or diet. Whether it’s a completely organic menu or a selection of dishes inspired by your favorite restaurant, we can do it. We have Culinistas® who specialize in gluten-free, vegan, raw and macrobiotic cuisine to name a few. Want to try eating vegan for a week? We will help you! Coming off of a cleanse? We can help you ease the transition back to whole foods. Do you keep Kosher? We can accommodate you.
Once the checklist is complete, our hostess will assign a Culinista that best suits your needs and coordinate a convenient day and time that she may come to cook for you each week. Before arriving at your door, your Culinista cherry-picks your groceries from some of Manhattan and Los Angeles’ best markets - ensuring freshness and quality.
Whether you’re home or out, it makes no difference to the Culinista - so long as there’s access to your kitchen, we can do our jobs! Culinistas usually cook for 2-4 hours. During this time they prepare 6-8 dishes – a mix of proteins, vegetables, starches and anything else you request - that are designed to be interchangeable complements, providing a variety of meals for your household over the course of the week. With each visit, our Culinistas will keep fine-tuning their creations to find new ways to delight your palate.
Cooking completed, food is then labeled and refrigerated, with simple, hand written heating and serving instructions.
Oh, and did we mention that your Culinista always leaves you with a clean kitchen?

Our prix fixe is $300 per visit plus grocery costs. What does that include?
The Dish's Dish handles customized meal planning, grocery shopping, preparation of 6 - 8 dishes, and final serving suggestions. Your kitchen will be clean and your delicious meals ready and labeled. You'll also receive discounted catering rates from us for your next special occasion gathering. We bill food costs separately so that there are no hidden charges. Unlike other services, The Dish's Dish encourages your input in every aspect of menu planning and implementation to ensure that we work within your budget while providing you with the highest quality service.
